Wow, I'm really surprised how nervous I am for the biathlon this morning. It's a 700 meter open water swim and I chose the longer 10K run. It didn't help to know that only 2 other women signed up for the longer run. Maybe I'll be faster than them in either the water or running?
This will certainly be a lesson in humility. The chances of me running across the finish line last is pretty high. Oh did I mention that this is a celebrity charity event...so the media will be there to capture it. Fantastic.
Excuse me while I go and try not to dry heave.
